Building Stronger Teams with the Five Behaviors®
Who This Program Is For
Rise Together is designed for:
Most people participate in multiple teams—department teams, project teams, and cross-functional groups. This program helps team members understand the expectations and how their behaviors influence the effectiveness of every team they are on.
By developing a shared understanding of the Five Behaviors®, organizations create a common language for teamwork and collaboration across departments.
What Team Members Experience
Rise Together is typically delivered as a one-day interactive workshop customized by the Five Behaviors® Personal Development assessment.
Before the workshop, each participant completes the assessment, which measures their strengths and challenges across the Five Behaviors®.
Trust Each Other
When team members are genuinely transparent and honest with one another, they are able to build vulnerability-based trust.
Engage in Conflict Around Ideas
When there is trust, team members are able to engage in unfiltered, constructive debate of ideas.
Commit to Decisions
When team members are able to offer opinions and debate ideas, they will be more likely to commit to decisions.
Hold Each Other Accountable
When everyone is committed to a clear plan of action, they will be more willing to hold each other accountable.
Focus on Achieving Collective Results
The ultimate goal of building greater trust, conflict, commitment, and accountability is one thing: the achievement of results.
The assessment incorporates the Everything DiSC® framework, helping participants understand how their natural communication and work styles influence the way they contribute to team dynamics.
Because each participant receives personalized results, the workshop experience is customized to each individual, allowing them to identify the behaviors that will strengthen their effectiveness as a team member.

Team Application
Rise Together is designed to move beyond theory and into application.
Participants translate their assessment insights into practical action plans for each of the five behaviors.
They identify specific actions they will take to:
- Build stronger trust with colleagues
- Engage in productive dialogue when issues arise
- Support team decisions and shared priorities
- Take ownership for commitments and outcomes
- Focus on collective team results
Participants leave with clear commitments for applying these behaviors in their daily work.
Outcomes and Benefits
Organizations that implement Rise Together develop team members who:
Understand their role in building effective teams
Communicate more openly and constructively
Address issues earlier rather than avoiding them
Take greater ownership for commitments and results
Contribute to a stronger culture of teamwork
Over time, these behaviors strengthen team culture across the organization.
