Cheri works with leaders who are motivated to stretch outside of their comfort zones and want a trusted guide to keep their journey on track. She specializes in keeping clients focused on their goals and visions by creating space for them to think and develop strategies for success.

Cheri’s clients are corporate professionals and physicians wanting to set strategies to improve their professional skills and achieve greater satisfaction in their work and personal lives.

They realize the transformations they are pursuing will require new habits, new skills, or new ways of viewing common stumbling blocks. Toward that end, they work together to identify and implement critical success strategies.

She has developed a niche working with individuals who need to learn how to foster more effective, collaborative, productive working relationships. In the clinical realm, some physician clients may struggle to overcome communication challenges that come along with the culture change from private practice to becoming an employed physician. Cheri helps them meet the challenge head on, increasing awareness of their emotions and productive responses to those emotions, as well as how to leverage their natural talents to overcome limitations.

Career Highlights

During Cheri’s career in hospitality and health care, she was always the “go-to” person—a trusted guide when people needed objective, non-judgmental insight from someone who genuinely cared. She counseled managers and other employees on communicating effectively, developing alliances, setting goals, finding creative solutions to problems, and achieving life balance.

In addition to coaching, Cheri also enjoys training and facilitation and has held the role of Director of Learning & Development for Ob Hospitalist Group.

Cheri holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

Cliff brings deep and broad leadership experience to his coaching practice. Throughout his distinguished career, both in and out of the military, Dr. Stanley has helped men and women exceed their expectations while building cohesive teams dedicated to high achievement and selfless service. Dr. Stanley has a proven track record of being a visionary and inspirational leader dedicated to diversity, families, and a true sense of taking care of others.

Cliff’s experience spans significant leadership roles in the military, federal government, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. As a coach, he leverages these experiences as he guides others to high performance. He specializes in executive coaching, strategic decision making, sales effectiveness, and organizational culture.

Career Highlights

Cliff served 33 years in uniform, retiring as a Major General in the United States Marine Corps. His last official position in the Department of Defense was that of Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. In that capacity, he was the senior policy advisor to the Secretary of Defense for recruitment, career development, pay, and benefits for 1.4 million active duty military personnel, 1.3 million Guard and Reserve personnel, 680,000 Department of Defense civilians, and was responsible for overseeing the overall state of military readiness.

He has also served as the President of Scholarship America, the nation’s largest nonprofit, private-sector scholarship organization, and as the Executive Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania.

A graduate of South Carolina State University with a degree in psychology, Cliff also received his master of science degree from Johns Hopkins University in counseling, graduating with honors. His formal military education includes Amphibious Warfare School, the Naval War College, Honor Graduate of Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and National War College. Dr. Stanley earned his doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds honorary doctor of laws degrees from South Carolina State University and Spalding University. He also holds a doctor of science honoris causa from The Medical University of South Carolina, and an honorary doctorate of humane letters from Stillman College. He is a Heart of Leadership Coaching® Certified Coach.

A seasoned Human Resources Executive, Katie has also co-founded and directed operations for two small businesses while serving as a leadership coach and consultant in Human Capital Development and Corporate Communications.

Tamieka’s commitment to helping others has been a consistent theme throughout her career. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern University, she enrolled as a Kern Scholar in the Master of Divinity program at Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, Virginia Union University. She received a certificate in Congregational Pastoral Care from the Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care, Inc., and completed a certificate program in Theology at the Princeton Theological Seminary.

Tamieka earned her Heart of Leadership Coaching® Certification and Registered Corporate Coach™ designation through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.

Tamieka is a Coach Facilitator for the Impact Leadership Program™ and a Certified Practitioner for Everything DiSC®.

For more than two decades, Tina provided leadership training and organizational development services within top companies both in the US and internationally. She now brings those same skills as a coach for non-profit and for-profit executives and teams.
